President's Letter <br>January 2022

2021 was another challenging year, full of unprecedented capacity and supply chain issues that continue to have lasting impacts on our nation’s freight. Now more than ever, I want our customers to know that Estes remains committed to being honest and transparent when challenges arise, and always going the extra mile to make things right.

Over the past year, we’ve received feedback from our customers about what it is that keeps them coming back to Estes. I couldn’t be more proud to share that most feel it’s our commitment to always doing right by our customers that sets us apart from other carriers in the industry. This is a truly meaningful distinction because it reflects our company’s decades-long commitment to building lasting, honest relationships with the people we serve.

As we turn the page on a new year, I can’t help but reflect on the hard work and dedication of Estes’ more than 21,000 fiercely committed employees. Our drivers, mechanics, dockworkers, terminal personnel, and corporate office teams have done more than simply face the challenges of these last two years--they’ve risen to them. And I am so proud of the way they continue to go above and beyond for every pick up and every delivery to take care of our customers.

Estes was built on values, but it runs on trust. That’s why we promise we’ll keep working hard in 2022 to help our customers navigate the industry’s ongoing challenges, keep their freight moving, and deliver exceptional experiences that keep them coming back.

Because going the extra mile isn’t just what we do—it’s who we are.
